2-10 Home Warranties

2-10 has contractors within 30 miles of AVL and HVL. Anything outside of those areas, homeowners will have to contact the contractors and then be reimbursed by the warranty company. A lot of the time, warranties are used in negotiations.

Buyer Warranty

  • 80% of buyers ask for a home warranty during negotiations

  • Example: a hot water heater can cost up to $1400

  • 2 levels of warranties 1. Standard (labor and parts) $550 2.Supreme $650 (HVAC repair)

  • Both cover the same systems, but Supreme is more comprehensive...hauling etc...code violations (rerouting duct work)

Listing Warranty

  • Free for properties that are listed with agents.

  • There is an agent portal to enter homeowners name and address

  • There are agent marketing tools on the agent portal as well as an email containing tips and tricks for buyers and sellers.

  • Home maintenance tools for marketing

  • ADD HVAC for 50$ paid only if warranty is with closing

  • You want your listing clients to know and buyers to know that sellers are “in good faith with the condition of the home” (in good working order)

  • This is a GREAT selling tool when trying to get FSBOs and Expireds

Long Term Rentals

  • Great for investors! The landlord and tenant must agree BEFOREHAND who will pay service fees to contractors.

  • *Happy Home Lock and/or Hardware- 2-10 Home Warranty will pay homeowner up to $100 for new locks and hardware within 45 days of closing

Agents Personal Home Warranty

  • Goes in effect immediately when you sign up

  • Newest features are continuously added to the warranty
